American National Standard for Office Furnishings-General Purpose Office Chairs. The standards are intended to provide manufacturers, specifiers, and users with a common basis for evaluating safety, durability, and the structural adequacy of the specifies furniture, independent of construction materials. Tests includes: Scope, Definitions, General Sections and Tests for: Back Pull, Unit Bases, Swivel Cycling , Tilt Mechanisms, Seating Impact , Front and Rear Stability, Arm Strength, Back Durability, Caster/Chair Base Durability and Tablet Arm Tests. |
